We saw several including a mama and her 2 baby cubs 🐻If this list of attractions weren’t enough take the 20 min drive to Pigeon Forge, the home of Dollywood

Have you ever been to the Neon Museum in Las Vegas? 💡📍 770 Las Vegas Blvd, Las VegasIf you were looking for a SIGN to visit, here it is 😅Founded in 1996 this non profit is dedicated to collecting, restoring and displaying the iconic Las Vegas signs of the past. There is such incredible history found in this boneyard of neon lights and you will learn all about it with your tour.Walk down memory lane as you see original signs from Stardust, Lady Luck, Moulin Rouge, Binion’s and many more. We visited at night which I would highly suggest and make sure you stay for the Brilliant light show which was absolutely stunning.

Have you ever been on a Rogue River jet boat tour on the Southern Oregon Coast?We did a Jerry’s Rouge Jet Boat tour and it was incredible!📍 29985 Harbor WayGold Beach, OregonThe 4.5 hour tour was full of adventure and beautiful scenery. We saw lots of wildlife and even stopped for a delicious BBQ meal in the town of Agness. The Rogue River is 215 miles long from start to sea. The river originates from Boundary Springs near Crater Lake and reaches the Pacific Ocean in Gold Beach.

The Immersive Disney Animation Experience was nothing short of magical. The classic Disney animation combined with the songs we all know and love was perfect for any Disney fan.Disney Immersive Experience This is an experience you don’t want to miss!

Have you ever visited the 10th largest pyramid in the world? 🎣Standing at 321 feet The Bass Pro Shop in Memphis is definitely a must see tourist attraction.Inside you can find shopping (obviously), two restaurants, an entire hotel, archery range, bowling alley as well as 10 aquariums housing more than 1800 fish and swamps with real alligators. 🐊In the middle of the store you can find the tallest free standing glass elevator in the USA, 28 stories straight up. At the top you will find another restaurant with a beautiful aquarium and an observation deck. When you step out on the clear glass observation deck (🫣) you get incredible views of Memphis as well as the Mississippi.Be prepared to stay for hours or better yet book a room!

Have you ever visited Pebble Beach in Monterey CA and taken the 17 mile drive? 🚙The 17 Mile Drive is a toll road but most likely one of the most beautiful toll roads you will ever experience. The drive takes you along the coastline where you will pass the world famous golf course, beautiful coastline, 5300 acre Del Monte Forest and of course beautiful homes. On our last visit we were able to see the most adorable sea otters. Make sure you stop to see the most photographed tree in North America, The Lone Cypress

Have you ever visited The Chittenden Locks in Seattle?The Chittenden locks or Ballard Locks carry more boat traffic than any other lock in the US.What is a lock?A lock is a device used for raising and lowering boats between stretches of water of different levels on river and waterways.The Chittenden locks attract more than 1 million visitors each year. It is so amazing to watch the changing of the water levels. It is so cool to see how quickly they can raise and lower the water level in each lock. There is also a viewing area for the local sea life as well as beautiful gardens. Before visiting I never knew anything about water locks, so this was definitely a fun learning experience.

Have you ever been to The Madonna Inn located in San Luis Obispo?The Madonna Inn is a boutique hotel with 110 uniquely decorated rooms that sits on 1000 acres. The first 10 rooms were competed in 1958 but once the demand was realized they soon began work on an additional 28 rooms. Rooms continued to be added to reach the total they have today.We didn’t get to stay overnight on this visit as we were just driving through on a road trip but we were able to take a tour and of course grab a treat at the bakery. Take a look at this beautiful Steak House, I love the pink!Other amenities are horseback riding ($), boutique shopping, on-site spa, pool, tennis courts, pool. Oh and be sure to visit the VERY unique restrooms downstairs

Have you ever visited Idyllwild, CA?Idyllwild is a small town located in the San Jacinto mountains. No chain restaurants or big box stores here, only locally owned shops and restaurants.If you are lucky you can meet the town Mayor, Mayor Max III…a Golden Retriever!Yes you heard that right, the city’s mayor is an adorable very well behaved dog!If having a dog for a Mayor wasn’t enough reason to visit this small town then maybe the hiking, rock climbing, flowing creeks, local shops and specialty restaurants will be. Don’t come expecting hustle and bustle of other mountain towns this one is small and quiet but does host several events throughout the year so check their event calendar.

Have you ever visited Wolfie’s Carousel Bar in San Diego?Located in Little Italy in San Diego Wolfie’s Carousel Bar offers a unique dining experience.Originally built in 1881 by German carousel master carver and builder, Charles I.D. Looff, who was nicknamed “Wolfie”The very carousel is the ever revolving centerpiece of Wolfie’s Carousel Bar.Did someone say brunch??We visited for brunch and enjoyed delicious beignets, Croquet Monsieur, Brûlée French Toast and crafted cocktails. I love the serving dishes and glasses, such a nice touch. This is definitely a fun dining experience with great photo opportunities

Have you ever visited the Restaurant Dooky Chase in New Orleans?Did you know that Princess Tiana was inspired by a real life person?Leah Chase also known as the Queen of Creole was the inspiration for Princess Tiana and it’s easy to understand why.On my to do list on our recent trip to NOLA was a visit to the famous Dooky Chase restaurant owned by the famous chef and Civil Rights activist Leah Chase. Sadly we weren’t able to visit the original location that opened in 1941 but we did stop by the new location inside of the airport. Once I heard about Mrs. Chase I knew I needed to know more. We all love Tiana for her drive, her passion and kind heart which is exactly why I’m sure Leah Chase was the inspiration for this beloved character. Not only was Mrs. Chase a chef extraordinaire but her and her husband Edgar did whatever they could do support the Civil Rights Movement, their community and helped support local artists.

Have you ever been to Siesta Key beach in Sarasota Florida?Once you step foot on the powdery white sand you will quickly understand why it has been voted the # 1 beach in the USA.The water was crystal clear and perfect!If the soft sand and water weren’t enough the amenities the beach offers is another reason for visit.Lots of parking as well as full service snacks bars! You can even order your favorite drink! 🍹YES PLEASE!There is also a trolley to take you to the nearly by siesta Key Village for shopping and dining.Make sure you arrive early because it is a hot spot!

Have you ever visited The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch? 🌸🌺                                                               www.theflowerfields.com The flower fields are made up of 55 acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus in the most vibrant stunning colors. Sections are separated by colors, you can even find an American Flag made up of these beautiful flowers. Besides gorgeous flowers and endless photos opportunities there are many fun activities such as gem mining ($), sweet pea maze, Santa’s Garden playground, Tractor Wagon Ride ($) and bird aviaries. With the Ocean as a backdrop it really is the most beautiful place to visit❤️

Have you ever visited The Leo Carrillo Historic Park in Carlsbad, CA?This 27 acre, 19th Century Hacienda was built by Leo Carrillo who was an actor and a preservationist. Consisting of several beautiful adobe buildings, stables even a pool. The estate is now used as a historic site and for education purposes. Weddings and events often take place as this beautiful estate as well. They offer free guided and self guided tours.

Have you ever been to Clingmans Dome at the Top of the Great Smokey Mountains ⛰️At 6,643 feet, Clingmans Dome is the highest point in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The observation tower on the summit of Clingmans Dome offers incredible views (when it isn’t foggy) of the Smokey Mountains. In order to reach the dome, you have to walk 1/2 a mile which doesn’t sound terrible but it’s incredibly steep. We definitely struggled with the incline and the altitude. We visited in the middle of summer and you know it is pretty warm in Tennessee at this time but by the time we reached the top we were so cold!

Have you ever visited Grand Tradition in Fallbrook, CAGrand Tradition Estate & Gardens is a 36-acre property established in 1984 specifically as a venue for weddings and events. The Verandah Restaurant inside the Beverly Mansion hosts weekly brunches as well as special events for Easter, Mother’s Day and a Santa Brunch.We attended the Santa brunch this past weekend and it was everything I hoped for!A buffet of all you care to enjoy with delicious options such as prime rib roast, ham, salads, egg benedict, French toast and much more.The Hot chocolate bar has the most extensive toppings I have ever seen.The dessert room, yes room, had fresh truffles and a huge chocolate fountain.Santa showed up to tell the kids a story and get their Christmas wish lists.We ended the day by walking the beautiful lush tropical grounds and getting soaked in the rain.I mean they already had me at the word brunch but Santa and champagne-Yes please!

Have you ever been to Big Bear?Big Bear or Big Bear Lake is located in the San Bernardino National Forest in Southern California and known for fun activities such as fishing, snowboarding and skiing, hiking, mountain biking, zoo, snow tubing, Mountain coasters and so much more!We love walking around The Village (downtown) and checking out all the cute shops, restaurants and decorations.The lake is huge and during summer great for boating but during winter it freezes over for a beautiful view.Our last visit we did the Alpine Slide and wow that was so much fun!One of my favorite stops (shocker) is a local bakery @sistermysisterbakeshop that you don’t want to miss!Click here to add text.
